Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

To assist establishment and maintenance of all quality assurance processes within the Safety Management System that are required by ICAO and company policy as well as the IOSA standards
To assist company in developing and maintaining IOSA framework
Ensure that the quality assurance elements of the Safety Management System are properly established, implemented and maintained
Verify, by monitoring in the fields of Flight Operations, Dispatch, Maintenance, Cabin, Ground Handling, Cargo Operations and Security that the standards required by IOSA, and defined by company policy and procedures, are being carried out under the supervision of the relevant nominated post holders
Management and conduct of a safety audit schedule appropriate to the scale of Flight Operations, Maintenance, Security, Ground Operations, and Training related to Operations and the range of Subcontractors whose work has an impact upon safety, regulatory and IOSA compliance

Qualification:


- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Shall be a trained Quality Auditor having at least 2 years’ experience in the field of airline quality management and practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices. In addition, he or she should hold a recognised Aviation Lead Auditor Certificate
- Should have a preferably an airline background as well as profound managerial and good computer application skills
- Great personality with good safety record
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment
- Able to travel when required
- Broad operational knowledge and experience in the functions of the organization (e.g. aircraft operations, air traffic management and aerodrome operations)
- Friendly, mature, humble, honest, meticulous; self-starter; able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment
- Proficient in oral and written English
- Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access
- Ability to maintain high confidentiality, tactful and discretion when dealing with people
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- The ability to relate to all levels, both inside and outside the organization
- Good analytical skills








Safety Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

• Report directly to Safety & Security Manager
• To be authorized by Safety & Security Manager to manage all activities and control of manpower of Safety, Security Division during his/her absence
• To assist Safety & Security Manager to improve the Company’s Safety Management System processes, including its associated documentation system
• To assist Safety & Security Manager to manage and continually improve the Company’s Flight Data Monitoring system and Safety Reporting system
• Conduct hazard identification and risk management analysis of safety and security occurrences under the supervision of Safety & Security Manager
• Assist in accident / incident investigations, establish causes and formulate corrective /preventative safety measures and report writing
• Assist in monitoring corrective safety actions to ensure accomplishment and effectiveness
• Assist in monitoring safety performance and communicate results to management

Qualifications:

- Holding License ATPL A320
• Tertiary qualifications in any fields with minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
• Relevant qualifications in in safety management system and/or human factors
• General knowledge on aviation Incident investigation
• Strong interpersonal, communications, presentation and writing skills
• If the appointed Safety Executive does not hold the requirements above, he/she should attend the following specialized training to supplement the experience and
qualifications:

− Safety management
− Safety investigation and human factors
− Safety risk management
− Internal auditor
− Emergency response
− Flight data analysis
• Proficient in oral and written English, Thai
• Ability to work independently with high comfort level working in a diverse environment
• High sense of coordinating with team members and other departments in the company









Director Ground Operation


Job Description
• Full responsibility for the management of the Ground Operations Department.
• Planning and execution of all activities in the area of ground operations and all other training issues and to coordinate this with the related departments.
• Introduce and monitor Ground Operations standards based on national and international rules, regulations and laws.
• Establish and maintain procedures and processes which are necessary according to CAR OPS 1.
• Monitor training standards based on national and international rules, regulations and laws.
• Perform all duties for ground operations as required.
• Assist the Safety and Quality Manager to implement the quality policies within the Ground Operations Department.
• Introduce and implement corrective actions derived from audits and assessments.
• Manage human resources to ensure that sufficient qualified and skilled employees are available to perform the ground operations duties.
• Authorised signatory on all ground operations documentation.
• Maintaining a filing system and submit required reports, declarations and notifications to the authorities.
• Communicate with the authorities and governmental offices in relation to all ground handling matters.
Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in aircraft operations
• Minimum of 5 years within a customer service environment
• Relevant experience in employee management and staff training
• Minimum 5 years managing a team of 10 plus personnel
• Experience in Aviation Auditing
• Experience as Post Holder Ground Operations

• Detail oriented methodical approach to solving/performing tasks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Good level of office software applications incl. presentations and statistical reporting
